My mom keeps competing with me, and I’m only 5! It’s funny and a little confusing because I thought we were on the same team. Whether it’s who can build the tallest block tower or who can sing the loudest, she always wants to be the best. Sometimes, I just want to play without keeping score! I love her so much, but it feels like I have to be on my game all the time. I wish she’d just cheer me on instead of trying to win. Maybe one day, we can just enjoy our fun together, no competitions—just giggles and playtime!
