The only catch not noted here is to BE READY. Once you land one of these or are planning to try you need a plan in place to handle the potential surge or else you’re just a schmuck with a website that went down and orders that can’t be fulfilled in a timely manner.

I can confirm after having worked with and been around countless new product launches that a single media appearance can lead to a lot of sales. Sometimes those media appearance have long term cyclical impacts too - some shark tank products I’ve worked on will see a smaller spike in interest and sales every time the show has reruns.
