This phone is designed to work on select CDMA, GSM & 5G networks. 5G is a cellular network data protocol capable of extremely fast data speeds that rival, or surpass, that of wired broadband Internet providers. 5G speeds can vary considerably based on location, but on average, should have no problem streaming 4K video. As 5G upgrades over time, mobile AR and VR applications could become possible. The phone is backwards compatible with 4G LTE, 3G, and 2G data for locations that do not support 5G.

Protect your content and personal information with a fingerprint reader that's unobtrusively built-in within the display itself. You can also utilize the front-facing selfie camera to unlock the phone via facial recognition.

Durable & Weather-Resistant Construction

While packed with advanced mobile technology, the Moto Edge is not a fragile device. The frame is machined from 6000 series aluminum and the screen is protected by strong and durable Corning Gorilla Glass 5. When out in the elements, a little splash or rain is easy enough to withstand via the Edge's water-repellent design and IP52-rated water resistance.

Google Lens

With Google Lens you can use the rear camera to give you more information about the world around you. With it you can translate the text of a street sign or restaurant menu. You can identify an option to search for more information on it, or to shop for one. You can also identify landmarks nearby to gain historical facts, view reviews, tour times, and more.
