Optoma Technology Cinemax-D2 Overview

Stunning 4K content, fast lag-free gaming, and over 400,000 streaming titles are at your fingertips when you add the white Optoma CinemaX D2 Smart 3000-Lumen 4K UHD Ultra-Short Throw Laser DLP Smart Home Theater and Gaming Projector to your home theater. With the included Android TV stick, you can access an enormous library of shows, movies, games, and more to stream. With the stick, the CinemaX D2 Smart even allows you to operate it and search for media using your voice. With an ultra-short throw, setting it up is easy, as you can get a huge 100" display from under 1' away. Whatever you view or play through the CinemaX D2 Smart is made to look amazing, with a DuraCore laser light and wide Rec.709 color gamut for lifelike images.

Android TV

The included Android TV streaming device gives you access to a wide array of online streaming services, such as Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Apple TV+, HBO Max, YouTube, and more. You can even add more apps with access to the Google Play Store. In total, you have access to well over 400,000 shows, movies, games, live sport events, music, and more. Once you find your favorite apps, you can customize the home screen to display them for easy access. Both the projector and smart streaming are conveniently controlled by a single remote.

Google Assistant

Pressing the Google Assistant button on the remote allows you to use your voice to search for new content or open installed apps. If you have smart devices on your home network, you can also use your device to control your environment. Dim the lights for movie night, see your calendar, ask questions, and more.

Gaming Mode

If you want to experience the highest resolution your games have to offer, selecting 4K playback delivers a stable 60 Hz refresh rate and low 16 ms latency. If speed and lag are your main concern, you can opt for 1080p resolution at an extremely quick 240 Hz refresh with a low 4 ms response time.

Wall Color Adjustment

If you're projecting to a wall that's not pure white, you can use the CinemaX's wall color adjustment feature to select one of six tinted options to best match your wall color: Blackboard, Light Yellow, Light Green, Light Blue, Pink, and Gray.

Easy Adjustments

You can obtain a perfectly rectangular image, even on uneven surfaces, by adjusting individual points with the built-in geometric correction tool.

Full 3D

You can project 3D content through the CinemaX from almost any 3D source, such as a Blu-ray player, over-the-air broadcast, and game consoles.

ISF Modes

You can calibrate and save your daytime and nighttime settings using ISF Modes.

CMS (Color Management System)

Fine-tune the projector's color settings to display lifelike and accurate color to best match your viewing environment.
