Shure PGXD2/BETA58 Digital Wireless Handheld Microphone Transmitter with Beta 58A Capsule

The PGXD2 transmitter operates anywhere in the world in the 900 MHz range delivering high-quality 24-bit / 48 kHz digital audio. It offers 10 dB of adjustable gain control to accommodate presenters and performers at varying volume levels. Infrared ports on the transmitter and the receiver (available separately) allow you to sync the components to the same frequency with a single button press on the receiver.

The transmitter's power button doubles as a mute button with a short press. The LED shows power, mute, and battery status, while the controls can be locked out to prevent accidental setting changes.

Interchangeable Capsule Design with Beta 58A Mic

• The Beta 58A is a dynamic microphone capsule optimized for crisp, present vocals with a brightened midrange and bass roll-off to control the proximity effect
• The capsule features a neodymium magnet for heightened sensitivity and high output as well as a tight supercardioid polar pattern that greatly minimizes background noise and feedback
• The dent-resistant steel mesh grille resists wear and abuse. The built-in pop filter reduces undesirable wind and breath noise for clear and intelligible speech
• The transmitter's interchangeable capsule design allows you to swap out the Beta 58A for a different mic if required; capsule options include the PG58, SM86, and the legendary SM58
