SecureData KP Overview


Secure your data with the 16GB SecureDrive SecureUSB KP 256-Bit Encrypted USB 3.0 Flash Drive. Prevent unauthorized access with programmable User and Admin PINs 7-15 digits long. A built-in battery allows users to enter PINs before inserting the drive into a USB port. After 10 consecutive failed login attempts, data will automatically be zeroed out on the corresponding profile. The Admin profile can be used to reset the User profile. There is also a function to purge all data on the drive and render it inoperable.


The SecureDrive SecureUSB requires no software, as data remains encrypted on a hardware-level, using 256-Bit AES-XTS. USB 3.0 technology delivers up to 152 MB/s and 118 MB/s read and write times, respectively. An aluminum build is designed to prevent and reveal attempts to tamper with the drive. Furthermore, internal parts utilize an epoxy cover, intended to prevent physical removal. The SecureDrive SecureUSB Flash Drive carries an IP57 dust- and water-resistance rating. This drive works with an array of operating systems, including Microsoft Windows, macOS, Linux, Chrome, Thin Clients, VMWare, and Citrix Embedded Systems.

USB 3.2 Gen 1 features a maximum throughput of 5 Gb/s. USB 3.2 Gen 1 is synonymous with USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 3.0.

Auto Lock


Unplugging the SecureData SecureUSB from your computer will automatically lock it. The USB drive can also be set to automatically lock after a pre-set amount of idle time, even while still connected to a host computer.


Read-Only Mode


Activate Read-Only Mode to restrict writing and rewriting privileges. Content can be designated Read-Only by the User or the Admin.
