The new AVH243 VTAC units are 51 7/8" while still keeping the same 23 1/8" x 23 1/8" footprint as the smaller models.

The AVH243H50AXXX features 22,500 cooling BTUs and 19,500 heat pump BTUs plus a 4.1 / 5.0 kW electric back-up heater size. With an Amana VTAC, installation is as easy as installing a PTAC. Everything is charged, piped, and pre-wired. Since it is installed in a closet, it gives you the added option of conditioning in more than one room. It is a perfect solution for suite hotels, assisted living and nursing homes, even dorm suites.
