The OpticFilm 8200i SE uses a CCD sensor with 7200dpi high-resolution, specifically designed for film scanning, with 48-bit color bit depth that captures all the details from the original film. The scanner’s infrared channel removes dust and scratches and eliminates the need for extensive post-processing. Plustek has manufactured dedicated film scanners for over 20 year and we understand film photography image quality and scanning requirements.

Built-in ICC Profile.

ICC profiles ensures your scanned images look exactly the same when printed and displayed. The Plustek OpticFilm 8200i SE has built-in profiles for many different color and black and white including, Kodachrome slides.
