The STX Spotting Scope Modular Zoom Eyepiece (Straight Viewing) from Swarovski is a wide-angle eyepiece designed for the STX spotting scope series. This eyepiece is compatible with the STX-65, STX-85, and STX-95 objective assemblies and mounted with either the STX-65 or STX-85 objective assembly. The scope is easy to disassemble, transport and store because the eyepiece quickly attaches/detaches from the objective assembly's bayonet mount. Swarovski engineered the straight-view eyepiece's focus dial to align with the zoom dial on the objective assembly. In doing so, Swarovski enables one-handed adjustments to field of view and zoom. This feature is especially useful when tracking an object, requiring one hand to guide the tripod head.
