Connectivity and Performance

The BG-4KPTZ-12XUHP combines an 80.4-degree field of view and 12X optical zoom to capture individual subjects in crystal clear detail while retaining the ability to capture the entire scene with ease. The camera also features fast and accurate auto-focusing, allowing it to quickly and accurately maintain stable focus on any object. This camera can simultaneously output USB 3.0, HDMI, and multiple IP streams, giving it a great deal of flexibility. With USB 3.0, the output can be dual-streamed as well. A 3.5mm jack is available for embedding stereo audio from the scene into all video outputs. Supported video compression formats are H.264 and H.265. The device has a LAN port with PoE support, allowing installation with a single-category cable.

Control

The BG-4KPTZ-12XUHP camera supports ONVIF, RTSP, and RTMP protocols, enabling the camera to directly stream video to streaming and video platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch. Operators can control the camera via a web GUI, IR remote, IP VISCA, ONVIF, RS-232, and RS-485 (VISCA/Pelco-P/D). There are 255 preset positions for the camera, with ten of these presets being available via IR remote control. An onboard dial on the camera also enables operators to set the output resolution. A full suite of exposure and video settings is available to help operators tailor the image for different environments and lighting conditions. The BG-4KPTZ-12XUHP has ceiling, wall, and tripod mounting options, allowing for great versatility when choosing an installation location. This camera supports SRT, enabling high-quality, low-latency video to be sent reliably over the internet.

Power

Connect supplied 12V power adapter.

LAN

Connect to a network switch via category cable to supply power (PoE), control (TCP/IP or WebGUI), and stream.

System Select

Turn this dial to set desired output resolution.

RS-232, RS-422/485

Connect cascading RS-232 or RS-422/485 to control the cameras with a joystick controller or control software.

Line In

Connect external audio sources such as a microphone or small audio mixer to embed the sound into all video output interfaces.

USB

Connect a USB 3.0 type B cable to a PC for plug-and-play connectivity for any conferencing service like Skype or Zoom.

HDMI

Connect to an HDMI device such as a video production switcher or a video display up to 4K 60Hz.
